Corneliu Popa is one the new generation of entrepreneurs in Romania. He came to maturity in the years immediately following the 1989 revolution and has since worked to develop a variety of initiatives and commercial businesses in the North East Region (Moldavia).

His experience with social projects has been considerable; creating and developing a variety of tourism and rural development projects.

Through the company, ‘Karacter’, that he founded, he has recently worked with other agencies and educational institutions to advise groups in the development of initiatives designed to increase general social and economic benefit. Corneliu has been working closely with Pathways and its associates for several years.
